SEW-EURODRIVE Austria has been moving countless processes, systems or machines in a wide variety of sectors of the production and process industry since 1969.
The first branch in Austria was the assembly plant in Brunn am Gebirge, which quickly became too small despite being expanded twice. In 2000, SEW-EURODRIVE built a larger and innovative assembly plant in 1230 Vienna Inzersdorf.
The first expansion of the Drive Technology Center took place in 2015. Assembly and office space was expanded in 2022/2023, which offers customers and employees many new opportunities. SEW-EURODRIVE always stays on the move - the production hall is currently being modernized.

Meanwhile, 160 employees are employed at four locations in assembly, sales, service and administration. In addition to the Drive Technology Center (headquarters in Vienna), SEW-EURODRIVE Austria includes a new Drive Center-West in Lustenau as well as three technical offices located in Linz and Graz Celje (Slovenia). We are also responsible for sales in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Croatia, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia.
Our dedicated employees drive the automation of your machines and systems on a daily basis. Our offer includes geared motors, frequency converters, servo technology, decentralized technology and industrial gearboxes. Our portfolio is rounded off by consulting services, engineering and a comprehensive range of services.
