Versatile
All types of synchronous and asynchronous motors can be controlled. Optional motor encoders or mechanical brakes can be adapted.
Intelligent
Information from the electronic nameplate as well as braking and diagnostic data are transmitted directly to the inverter.
Simple
The intelligent, digital connection with a standardized hybrid cable enables the power supply - as well as data connection between decentralized inverter and motor.
Safe
Integrated safety function STO (Safe Torque Off) in PL e. Binary control or optionally via PROFINET®/PROFIsafe.
We have based the further development of our decentralized product portfolio on our MOVI‑C® modular automation system. MOVIMOT® flexible enables the decentralized inverter to be installed close to the motor in your system. With MOVIMOT® flexible, it's up to you whether you opt for synchronous or asynchronous motor technology.
The MOVIMOT® flexible decentralized inverter consists of an inverter and a connection box with field distributor function.
MOVIMOT® flexible is available in two versions . MMF1., the lean basic version, already comes with the full range of inverter functions, while MMF3. offers additional options that simplify installation and operation. These options include a load disconnector (with or without integrated line protection) and preparation for mounting an operator panel. A key switch with feedback contact can also be integrated.
Performance class 1 (size 1/1E) of the decentralized inverter enables performances between 0.55 and 2.2 kW (depending on the motor type) due to rated output currents of 2.0, 2.5, 3.2, 4.0 and 5.5 A. Performance class 2 (size 2/2E) with rated output currents of 7.0, 9.5, 12.5 and 16.0 A provides performances from 3.0 kW to 7.5 kW.

Are you looking for an even simpler solution with the inverter integrated into the motor?
Our MOVIMOT® advanced drive unit combines an asynchronous motor with a frequency inverter, making it an all-rounder for use in numerous intelligent logistics applications.
From control technology to inverters and drives, whether centralized or decentralized, there are no language barriers with any of the components from the MOVI-C® modular automation system.
Plan the design of your machines or systems with a single control, communication or installation topology. Our hardware and software will ensure seamless integration/assimilation and simply get things moving.
Customized motion control applications are making increasing use of the EtherCAT® CiA402 profile, including directly in the field, to control a number of drives using a field distributor. Whether you are utilizing this bus communication interface or a different one, you have unlimited combination options with MOVIMOT® flexible.
Single-cable technology for power supply and data transfer with digital encoder for synchronous and asynchronous motors
In fact, only one hybrid cable is required here for the data connection between inverter and motor. The MOVILINK® DDI digital data interface transfers the power, brake, encoder and diagnostic data to the motor.
portfolio manager for decentralized drive technology at SEW‑EURODRIVE
The MOVI‑C® modular automation system gives customers the option to implement their applications both with inverters in a control cabinet and with drive electronics that are either located close to the motor or integrated into it without any differences in terms of project planning, handling or performance. An essential part of the platform is the digital motor integration. This supports automatic drive train startup and also ensures that various sensor signals can be transmitted from the motor to the electronics without requiring any additional installation work.
